Skills Recognition Classification (SRC) is an industry-wide recognised classification system to ensure the proper skills development of welders, improve employment prospects, and provide employers with guaranteed access to specialised workers.

An SRC Card enables employers to employ without testing or further training, as the card guarantees that the card-holder has met a set level of compentency.

NOT JUST ANOTHER CERTIFICATION

Previous industry attempts to certify employees has left employers very disappointed with employees being unable to perform the specialised tasks required for specific projects.

The goal of SRC is to to ensure speciallised skills development through the creation of craftsmanship skills and knowledge, which can only be achieved over time and with sufficient on-the-job experience.

SRC training not only provides students with specialised skills, but also with a generic foundation of skills and knowledge upon which any skill can be developed.
